Make yourself at home at Dysart House and their distillery, full of history and amazing flavors. Their single malt whiskies made using 100% Tasmanian ingredients await you on this tour. Tour the bond store and grounds and treat yourself to a Tasmanian antipasto platter (normally valued at $80). Go behind the scenes with a tour of the distillery and bond store. See barrels of all different shapes and sizes with maturing Whisky. Ghost stories are all a part of the history of the house so keep your eyes peeled. Next, take a seat in the Cask Lounge, located in the grand coaching inn that is the Old Kempton cellar door. End with a guided tasting of a variety of 4 Old Kempton Distillery Single Malt Whiskies and a Tasmanian antipasto platter. Dysart House, Kempton, has been home to the fully functioning distillery of Old Kempton since November 2015. Besides whisky, they make gin and liqueurs and other specials. Other tastings can be availed on-site depending on your preferences (not included in the tour price).
