Lark Distillery was the first licensed distillery in Tasmania since 1839. Bill Lark realised Tasmania had all that was needed to produce fine malt whisky as well as brandy, gin, rum and liqueur. Using pure Tasmanian ingredients, matured in small barrels a world class single malt whisky is produced.
The range of products includes the Single Malt Whisky, Premium Vodka, Gin, Rum and a Bush Liqueur. How do you like the sound of Godfather Pepperberry Gin?
Today the Distillery runs an 1800 litre copper pot still, along with a 500 litre spirit still, and produces ten to twelve 100 litre barrels per month.
The Lark Distillery is located on Hobart's waterfront. One and two day tours are available with the two day tour taking in the peat bogs of the Central Highlands.

You can enjoy the in-house whisky and spirits by combining them with a snack, be it a fine cheese platter, hearty soup or a delightful sweet.
