Trapper's Hut Single Cask Malt Whisky was distilled using prime water and barley by Tasmania Distillery in 2000. After maturing for eight years, this fine malt whiskey has only been released one barrel at a time, whilst the others continue to mature.
The spirit is matured in 200L American Oak Bourbon barrels until its decanting and bottling, without chill filtering or additives , barrels: HH348, HH349 and HH350 have been bottled and have all sold out with Barrel HH473 being bottled in March 2012 and is now available, in 150mL, 375mL and 700mL.
