From Hobart: 5-Day Tasmania West & East Coast Tour
248 ReviewsSee the best of Tasmania’s West and East Coasts in 5 action-packed days on this journey around the island, including visits to all the major attractions.
Fish Frenzy is the perfect place to grab fresh and simple seafood after a stroll along the beautiful Elizabeth Street Pier. With a backdrop that includes the old Hobart warehouses, the marina and the towering Atlantic vessels and tall ships that make up Hobart’s fishing fleet, visitors should make eating at this endearing restaurant a must.
Since opening in 1988, Fish Frenzy has fast become renowned for its awesome seafood, fast service and innovative presentation. Now a regular stop for locals and travellers alike, find out what the fuss is about and sample something from their menu. The fish and chips alone have four varieties to choose from; trevally, flake, flathead and blue eye are all available here. If there are more than one of you, however, it is well worth going all out and opting for the Pier Platter for 2 with its mix of hot and cold seafood, including smoked salmon, prawns, oysters, mussels, calamari, octopus and scallops. You would have a harder time trying to name what isn’t in this epic dish!
What’s more, with seating for 70 outside, try grabbing a spot overlooking the stunning views while you eat.
