Raindrops Restaurant
Tasmania
Australian
Burnie, a town located on the north west coast of Tasmania, is an area of true natural beauty. There are a number of parks and reserves where you can often see platypus gliding through the water, and with over 13km of creeks and beachfront walks, you'll be kept entertained all day long.
Therefore, after a long day out and about, the Raindrops Restaurant provides the perfect spot to refuel. Open seven days a week, Raindrops offer home grown local Tasmanian produce like the succulent and flavoursome Angus prime rib beef or the freshest seafood caught each day in the bay. This can all be complimented by their selection of fine wines from Tasmania and further afield.
Take a peek at the full menu for all the dishes. For starters, there's a great selection of oysters and why not try something a bit different like the Oyster Hitchhikers where the oysters are topped with scallops, bacon and Kilpatrick sauce? After satisfying your hunger, they have a cosy cocktail bar; perfect to enjoy a drink with friends or in the more intimate booths for a romantic evening.
The Raindrop Cafe is connected to the Beachfront Voyager Motor Inn and so if you choose to stay in one of their rooms, the restaurant menu is available as room service so you don't even have to leave the comfort of your bed.
