Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, Solicit has made its home in the shop front of the old A.T Bratt Boot Store (used from 1885-1989). Serving contemporary cuisine, owner John uses fresh and seasonal produce, inspired by flavours from all over the globe, featuring tasty treats of Tasmanian seafood and game.
With all food being made fresh on the premises, time has to be allowed for service but it is definitely worth it with a large menu of delicious options to choose from.
With a delightful selection of fresh juices and smoothies to wake you up in the morning, choose from made to order meals like eggs benedict, omelettes, and the popular big breakfast with jumbo eggs, bacon, mushroom, tomato and spinach.
Choose from a selection of gourmet light lunches to tickle your tastebuds, such as toasted bruschetta, homemade soup, moules frites, grilled Ansons Bay octopus or roast butternut and vegetable tart.
A selection of local delights, why not try seared pork medallions, seafood curry or for a more adventurous dish, prime cut of Wallaby.
To top it all off, treat yourself to a sherry soaked fudge brownie, pepperberry pavlova or local cheese board.
They offer an excellent selection of soft drinks, beer, wines and sparkly, as well as cocktails and even a Tasmanian rain sparkling water.
